The latest contest at LPS is "Ready, Set, Slow"! We are two rounds into it so far, and you can play along here http://lifepclub.invisionzone.com/index.php?showforum=70. The first heat was the challenge to use the Renoir painting "Girl with a Watering Can" as inspiration for a layout. The first twenty people to upload to the contest/challenge gallery were to move on to the next round. There were some incredible entries! Here was mine, which was inspired by the actual figure of the girl in the painting. My daughter had a red bow just like the girl in this photo.
The second round was posted on Mothers Day. The challenge was to use something your mother always said, or that you always say as a mother in your layout. I have been thinking of things my mother always said, and included a photo of her a few years before she died.
The challenge this week was to do a layout using Mindy's sketch. Great sketch, Mindy! Amazingly enough, I made it into the top five in round three! I waited and waited all day for someone to post the final layout!
